| §1.
THE MODEL The maximum span of the model must not exceed 2 meter. The model must only be provided with 2 servos, which can be used by the pilots own choice. No signals from the model must be received. The model must be kept the ordinary FAI rules. §2. THE START The start must be passed off on that/those high starts assigned by the competition manager. They must consist of maximum 30 meter rubber tow, 120 meter line, a parachute and a 30 cm line with a ring. The maximum pull must not exceed 6 kg. A start attempt: The pilot has 2 min. of work time, from the moment the model and pilot is ready till the model must be started. A new start can only be given after the competition managers judgment, if the high start has been defect, or the pilot has been bothered of a crossing line or an other model passing in the start area. §3. THE FLYING There will be flown 5 starts pr. round, or less if the competition manager consider, that the weather or the development of the competition will justify it. The 5 starts pr. round will be flown in following order: 3,4,5,6,7 minutes. There will be given 1 point pr. sec. When you have reach the maximum of the individual start, there will be a draw of 1 point pr. sec. In a flight of more than 30 sec. over maximum, you loose the right to the landing points. In a flight of more than 60 sec. over maximum you loose the right to any point in that start. §4. THE LANDING The landing should be on a 25 meter long strip, and points for deviations is given after this table.
You measure from the nose of the model to the middle of the landing strip. More than one model can land on the strip at the same time. The landing is invalid and gets 0 points if:
a. The model is landing upside down, stands in the ground (spear landing) or if the pilot moves b. Part from the model are being separated from start until it is lying on the ground. c. The model is touching persons or objects, which can make an influence at the landing.
d. You also lose your right to get points in your flying, if you are landing outside the flying
§5. TIMEKEEPING The timing starts when the model is released from the high start and stops the first time the model touches the ground. The time is measured in full seconds. §6. GENERALLY You can only participate, if you are a member of your local RC association. Your RC association number must be placed on the right wing of your model. Model changes must only occur, when the model you are started with no longer is airworthy. At a constant wind above 8 m/sec. the contest will be canceled. Protest can be handed in for a fee of DKR. 50.-. The protest must be written and handed to the competition manager with in 30 minutes after the finish of the competition, but before the prize giving. The fee is only returned if the protest is accepted. Protests, accomplishment of the competition, matter of dispute and safety rules only belongs to the competition managers field of responsibility. |
